OlmiChess is a Pocket PC program for those, who are tired of playing with an emotionless computer intellect. This game opens the new boundaries for you, allowing you to compete with hundreds of other real chess-lovers through the Internet, using a popular public server FICS (Free Internet Chess Server). What makes it even more convenient is that any kind of Internet connection is supported. Cradle, modem, WLan, cellular phone, GSM/GPRS/CDMA-modem - anything will do! Play whenever you feel like it, the server is popular and is always full of people. So, at any day of the week and any time of the day you can select a partner, whether manually or by a random selection, and simply go for it! You can register at the server, but you don't have to. You can always enter the server as a guest. There's players' rating available, you can watch and analyze other people's games, and even continue a postponed game, if you like. With such a large number of potential opponents you can select a partner with the similar to yours skills level. These are real people with their experience, people that can make mistakes, get nervous and, most important of all, share your passion about chess. So forget about the artificial intelligence and come out to play with humans. OlmiChess supports Pocket PC 2002/Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC (+ Phone Edition).

What is new:
The newly released version features updated functionality, as well as a completely new feature - the ability for a player to "surrender" or "offer a draw". Some cosmetic bugs fixed.
