Handy Backup Professional is an all-included backup solution ideally suited for IT-professionals and advanced computer users. Designed for operation under Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 Server, the utility features full and incremental backup and has numerous presets to backup Registry, E-mail, My Documents, Favorites, ICQ, Outlook, Outlook Express and also data and settings of other popular applications. In addition to files-based backup, there is a capability to create drive image and back up HDD with operating system and all applications. The program supports a versatile choice of storage media and can backup to FTP/SFTP, CD/DVD, LAN, USB, Flash, FireWire and Online. Besides backup and restoration, it can synchronize or files and folders between two different locations. All tasks are created by a comprehensible Task Wizard which provides easy files selection and step-by-step adjustment of backup options that include on-the-fly Zip64 compression, 128-bit blowfish encryption, backup with timestamps, etc. The program has a very flexible scheduler and is easy in administering: it supports command line interface, e-mail notifications, and can run as Windows service. Besides the core functionality, Handy Backup Pro can be supplemented with paid plug-ins which include MS Exchange Server backup, MSSQL backup, Lotus Notes backup, ODBC-compatible database backup and more. A rich set of features makes the application a perfect tool for backup and recovery of desktops, laptops and even business servers.
