The most popular form of eBooks is books that are printed in the portable document format or pdf file format which can be used on any computer regardless of the operating system. There are also an other form to distribute your eBook, and that is in an executable program. When using programs to display your eBook you are limiting your market as they can only be read on computers running the Windows operating system. Most of these eBooks display with these programs are also harder to read than pdf files. Not all readers want to read their eBooks on the screen and prefer printing it and read it away from the computer. So why will they buy an eBook and print it? They did not buy it to read it on the screen. The reason for buying eBooks is primary because the delivery of information is faster. I've seen people often pay more for an eBook than for a printed book just because they get it faster. eBook Writer includes a diagram tool that you can use to create mind maps, organazational charts, diagrams and even flow charts. It is basically a rich text editor that can export the document to the pdf file format. It can also create the bookmark links that serve as the index. Just click on the link and the document jumps to the bookmark. The restrictions that permit or disallow the user from printing, copying and editing can also be set when exporting the document to pdf format.
